Acts 26:22

But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. destroy...: Heb. cut them off They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. destroy: Heb. cut down Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. saints: or, nations, or, ages

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. avengeth: Heb. giveth avengements for subdueth: or, destroyeth

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. wealthy: Heb. moist

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: sentence: or, answer Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
