Ephesians 4:31

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. Where no...: Heb. Without wood talebearer: or, whisperer ceaseth: Heb. is silent

Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. men: Gr. perfect, or, of a ripe age

And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
