Exodus 3:7

Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them. had...: Heb. knew

If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. Reuben: that is, See a son

Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
