Job 33:5

If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. to...: Heb. from answering

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.

Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.

But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches. directed: or, ordered

Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
