Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. deal...: or, prosper

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. many ancient copies add these words at the beginning of verse, and turning to his disciples, he said

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
