Proverbs 21:11

Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge. will beware: Heb. will be cunning

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
