Psalms 37:30

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. fitly...: Heb. spoken upon his wheels As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. teach: Heb. whet, or, sharpen And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
