Psalms 69:20

I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all. miserable: or, troublesome

And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I looked...: or, Look on the right hand, and see failed...: Heb. perished from me cared...: Heb. sought after

And they all forsook him, and fled.

And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? sword: or, killing

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. his own: or, his own home

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me. Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
