Romans 16:2

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: hold...: or, honour such

Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us.

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: after...: Gr. worthy of God Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth. fellowhelpers: or, joint-labourers I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
