Titus 3:9

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?

Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; having...: or, not aiming at Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
